Quiet tour of the Business Library (Moorgate campus)
What is a Quiet Library Tour?
A Quiet Library Tour is a short, calm walkthrough of the library when the space is quieter than usual. It is designed for anyone who prefers to explore the spaces and services at a slower pace, with fewer sensory distractions.
Who is it for?
These tours are aimed at neurodivergent students, anyone anxious about new environments, or anyone who would benefit from seeing the library at a quieter time. All students are welcome. There will be a maximum of six students on this tour.
What to Expect
- A guided tour of key areas in the library
- A chance to see study spaces, including quieter areas
- Information on borrowing, printing, booking rooms, and finding help
- A look at sensory-friendly features such as Study Pods, daylight lamps, and equipment
- The option to ask questions at any time.
Sensory Information
- The tour lasts around 25-30 minutes, but you may leave at any time, depending on your comfort level.
- You are welcome to bring noise-cancelling headphones or any other sensory or soothing accessories.
Meeting point
The meeting point for the tour at the Library Help Desk, Level 1, Bayes Business School. Please bring your City St George's ID card. If you would like to see the space ahead of the tour, please access the virtual library tour.
