Beyond PubMed: Smarter Literature Searching (for Tooting University staff)

Many academics rely on PubMed because it’s simple and familiar — but did you know the Library gives you access to even more powerful tools, such as MEDLINE and CINAHL?

As part of a new initiative shaped by recent staff and student focus groups — who told us they’d like Library support to feel more closely integrated with their academic work — this friendly 30-minute workshop will show you what we teach your students about literature searching.

On top of this, you’ll learn how to search more precisely, save time, and build reproducible strategies that strengthen your own research skills.
