WRDS Training for BRP and ARPs for Cass Postgraduates

WRDS training

If your project topic requires that you gather data from a dataset in WRDS and you are struggling to find it, this is the training session for you. Cass PhD student Robin Tietz will be delivering a workshop collecting data from Compustat, CRSP and IBES. This is a key opportunity to learn how to gather the data for your project, so please bring your questions with you to the lecture.

This session will cover:

  • What data WRDS covers, with particular attention to Compustat, CRSP and IBES
  • Example Exercises
  • Where to get help
  • Time for you to ask questions about issues you've had using WRDS

Visit https://wrds-web.wharton.upenn.edu/wrds/?register=1 to register for a WRDS account. Getting set up can take up to two working days.
