This workshop, aimed at undergraduates, is designed to introduce a range of tools and techniques in order to refine your information searches.

The workshop will cover:

Why you are searching for information.
Different information sources and how you can use them.
A variety of search tools such as AND & OR searching, phrase searching and filtering.
Techniques for planning your search strategy.
