Planning and developing a search strategy for a dissertation

Session overview

This workshop will introduce School of Health & Psychological Sciences students to planning an effective search strategy and why this is important.

The session will introduce students to:

a systematic approach to literature searching
key academic databases
structuring research questions using Frameworks.

Who is this session for?

This session is aimed at undergraduate students carrying out a dissertation, but any student tackling structured database searching for the first time will also find it useful.

How do I attend?

To join the session you will need:

a computer
a reliable internet connection and
quiet space at the time of the workshop.
