This workshop, aimed at undergraduates, is designed to introduce a range of tools and techniques in order to refine your information searches.

The workshop will cover:

  • Why you are searching for information.
  • Different information sources and how you can use them.
  • A variety of search tools such as AND & OR searching, phrase searching and filtering.
  • Techniques for planning your search strategy.
