Health & Medical Sciences Postgraduates & Researchers: Formulating an effective research question for your dissertation/research paper

This workshop is aimed at Masters and PhD students and Researchers from the School of Health and Medical Sciences who are about to embark on writing a dissertation or research paper.

The session will look at the characteristics of a good research question and the steps involved in formulating an effective question:

-Deciding the type of question you want to answer 

-Discovering the scope of research available

-Using a framework to focus your question

-Establishing your Inclusion & Exclusion criteria
