Searching databases on the EBSCOhost and Ovid platforms
Session overview
This workshop will introduce School of Health & Medical Sciences students to searching key databases available on the EBSCOhost and Ovid platforms.
The session will cover:
- accessing and selecting databases on the EBSCOhost and Ovid platforms
- carrying out a structured keyword search using the 'Search History'
- applying search limiters
- saving search results.
Who is this session for?
This session is aimed at undergraduate students carrying out a dissertation, but any student tackling structured database searching for the first time will find it useful.
How do I attend?
