SUMMARY:Introduction to Bloomberg at Northampton Square
DESCRIPTION:This is a hands-on workshop to help you get started using 
 Bloomberg. You'll use the Bloomberg terminal yourself so you can get used 
 to the navigation.\n\nIt will take place in the Financial Databases Suite 
 on the 5th Floor of the Northampton Square Library in the University 
 Building. \n\nThis session will use a worksheet to show you how 
 to:​\n\n\n	Navigate Bloomberg\n	Find\, download\, and save company and 
 market information\n	Use other functions to find financial\, index\, and 
 economic data\n	Find help and support within the database\n\n\nSpace is 
 limited so booking is essential - if you're not able to come\, you must 
 cancel using the link in your original booking email (sent from 
 alerts@libcal.com) - that way if there is a waiting list someone else will 
 be able to take your place.\n\nThese workshops are designed to support the 
 Bayes undergraduate curriculum\, but students studying all areas\, 
 including Economics courses\, Political Science and Financial Journalism 
 are welcome to attend. \n\nThere are 10 terminals\, and space for up to 20 
 students\, so you will work in pairs if more than 10 students sign up for 
 the session.\n\nEach session will cover the same information so you only 
 need to book once.  If you have already attended a session\, even in a 
 previous year\, there is no need to attend more.
