 or affiliated with St George’s NHS Trust\, who want to find 
 evidence-based literature for their work and CPD. Doctors see 'Searching 
 Evidence-based literature Online workshop for NHS doctors'.\n\nWhat does it 
 cover?\n\nIn this session\, your NHS Librarian will guide you through the 
 NHS Knowledge & Library Hub and other essential online resources (see 
 below). \n\nThe workshop includes:\n\n\n	Planning and designing an 
 effective search strategy\n	Effective use of search techniques e.g. phrase 
 searching\, truncation \n	Searching for healthcare literature using the NHS 
 Knowledge and Library Hub platform\n	Identifying specialist resources e.g. 
 TRIP Pro database\, MAG Online Library\, Royal Marsden Manual Online\, 
 BrowZine Journals\, Oxford Medicine Online\, Kortext\, etc.\n	Locating\, 
 accessing or requesting full text articles from Library Services \n	LibKey 
 Nomad\n\n\nYou'll learn how to navigate these tools efficiently and use 
 them to find high quality evidence-based articles\, ebooks\, databases\, 
 guidelines etc to support your work in patient care\, service 
 improvements\, teaching\, clinical audit or CPD.\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: An 
 OpenAthens login will be necessary to access these resources. Register for 
 an OpenAthens account. We recommend registering at least two days prior to 
 the workshop.\n\n
