Session overview

This workshop will introduce School of Health & Medical Sciences students to planning an effective search strategy and why this is important.

The session will introduce students to:

  • a systematic approach to literature searching
  • key academic databases
  • structuring research questions using Frameworks.

Who is this session for?

This session is aimed at undergraduate students carrying out a dissertation, but any student tackling structured database searching for the first time will also find it useful.

How do I attend?

When you register we'll send you an email with a link to join the workshop on Teams, and you'll get a reminder email before the start time.

To join the session you will need:

  • a computer
  • a reliable internet connection and
  • quiet space at the time of the workshop.
